Boulevard Saint-Germain was hoppin' on Sunday night....and les garçons were doing a marvellous job at those famous Saint-Germain cafés and brasseries......Lipp, Les Deux Magots and Café Flore.
I think les garçons do a marvellous job....can you imagine how difficult their job is....they're always super busy....they have to work fast....they deal with a multitude of customers from all over the world speaking a variety of languages and generally have to work in very cramped conditions....it's squeezy, squeezy in those cafés. I can understand why they need those cigarette breaks!
Pierre and I went down to Vagenende http://www.vagenende.com/ just a little further down Boulevard Saint-Germain....but I was having such a lovely time eating quenelle of pike in that beautiful Art Nouveau brasserie that I forgot to take any photos. Les garçons were wonderful there too!
So bravo to them all...merci beaucoup for doing a great job.
